Subject:Mary-Kate Takes Independent Route
Time:9:21 am.
It's going to be a little tougher for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen to meet for coffee between classes this fall.

While Ashley will reportedly be returning to Manhattan for her sophomore year at New York University, her darker-haired sister will be pursuing independent study opportunities elsewhere, reportedly at a California art school, according to Us Weekly magazine.

However, the teen queens' rep, Michael Pagnotta denied reports that Mary-Kate was transferring from NYU's Gallatin School, where the 19-year-old twins completed their freshman year in May.

"Mary-Kate is not transferring from NYU," Pagnotta said in a statement to E! News. "She will be doing approved independent study for credit through the Gallatin School in the fall. She will continue to be enrolled there."

It's not the first time Mary-Kate has been rumored to be leaving her Big Apple studies behind.

Last October, Pagnotta shot down rumors that his petite client had dropped out in the midst of her first semester, claiming that she was merely in Los Angeles on a business matter.

In March, the rep again addressed rumors that Mary-Kate was not planning to matriculate for a second year.

"It's absolutely not true," Pagnotta told People magazine. "She will continue to be enrolled in NYU in the fall. They both will continue to be enrolled in the fall."

Luckily for Ashley, Mary-Kate's change of plans won't affect her living situation. The duo moved into separate apartments in January and placed the $7.3 million condo they purchased together but never inhabited on the market in March.

Pagnotta denied that the twin moguls' choice not to cohabitate was motivated by friction between the siblings.

"They are as close as ever. There's no problem between them. They share a lot of interests but they also do a lot of things separately," he said in January.

According to Us Weekly, Mary-Kate's decision to study on the West Coast may have been partly motivated by someone else she's grown close to recently.

The diminutive actress has reportedly been dating Greek shipping heir and L.A. film student Stavros Niarchos of late.

"Her boyfriend has something to do with it," Us Weekly quoted one source as saying. "She's totally in love with him."

However, Mary-Kate's decision to delve deeper into art studies is likely academically motivated as well, seeing as the teen has displayed a bona fide interest in the arts at NYU and spent last spring interning for Annie Leibovitz.

Though they may be studying on opposite coasts, the twin titans continue to share joint responsibility for their billion-dollar media empire, Dualstar LLC.

In January, the New York Minute stars appointed a new CEO to head up their company and vowed to take a more active role in pushing Dualstar to "even higher heights."

Nobody ever said they were your average college sophomores.

Subject:Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen return to NYU:-
Time:9:20 am.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's rep denies published reports the celebrity twins plan to attend colleges on opposite coasts in the fall.

Us Weekly magazine reported Ashley will return to New York University for her sophmore year while Mary-Kate will attend art school in California.

But Olsen spokesman Michael Pagnotta said Mary-Kate is not leaving NYU.

In a statement sent to E! News Tuesday, he said the 19-year-old will be doing approved independent study and will continue to be enrolled at NYU.

The billionaire twins got separate New York apartments in January and put their $7.3 million condo up for sale without ever living in it, E! said.

Us Weekly reported Mary-Kate wanted to study in California to be closer to her latest boyfriend, film student and Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos.

She also focused on arts studies at NYU last semester and interned for photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Subject:Mary-Kate Olsen Dates A Billionaire Greek Shipping Heir
Time:9:18 am.
Actress Mary-Kate Olsen has followed Paris Hilton's footsteps and got herself a billionaire Greek shipping heir. The 19-year old teen actress is dating Stavros Niarchos III; they were seen several times together, in some in various exotic locations.

Marry-Kate Olson and her twin sister, Ashley Fuller Olsen, have appeared in television and films since the age of nine months. The Olsens started their acting careers on the television series Full House in 1987, a show widely popular during the late 80s and early 90s.

On June 22, 2004, it was revealed that Mary-Kate had entered a rehabilitation program for the eating disorder anorexia nervosa. Gossip had swirled for months that her appearance was more and more drawn, but the actress and her management team refused to discuss the issue.

She herself had poked fun at the rumors on an episode of Saturday Night
Live, which she had hosted with her twin sister. In this episode, Ashley, Mary-Kate, and Amy Poehler posing as photographers, yelled to "Mary-Kate", "You're too skinny! Eat a sandwich!"

Rumors started swirling that Mary-Kate had also attempted suicide, and the headlines were accompanied by a photograph of a scar on her wrist.

Some media reports on July 7, implied that the Olsens' participation in the Got Milk campaign would be canceled, mainly due to Mary-Kate's illness. The ad in which they would have appeared read, was in part: "We want our fans to be healthy".

The same day, rumors began to spring that Mary-Kate Olsen was rehabilitating for a cocaine addiction, contrary to the previous rumors of her having anorexia nervosa.

In February of 2005, Ashley was featured on the cover of National Enquirer, a gossip magazine that claimed that she was using drugs. Ashley announced on February 14 that she was suing the company for about $40 million for making that claim.

Olsen Twins are selling their apartment in NY City

How much? It could be yours for a mere $7.3 million. The place is a 560 square-meter penthouse in Manhattan's trendy West Village.

The apartment Mary-Kate and Ashley never lived in is up for sale. The mini moguls wanted to renovate the place to fit their special desires, but it always remained a work in progress.

In the meantime, the twins moved out on their own (first time in their lives). Mary-Kate moved into loft in Soho while Ashley remained in Tribeca.

Their rep told People magazine, "It turned out to be too much space, along with the fact that the renovation was going to take far longer than anyone expected. It just didn't make sense anymore. Their needs changed in terms of their living situations."

Do you think there was a feud between the inseparable two? Or maybe they think it is time to grow up and experience life without always seeing each others’ shadow?

Mary-Kate Olsen anorexia relapse? True or not?

The rumours as "incredibly hurtful and flat-out wrong"- the Olsen twins denied the accusation regarding Mary-Kate's relapse into the eating disorder she was recently treated for.

According to the Twins' publicist, there is a professional team available to Mary-Kate on both coasts, who ongoingly monitor her eating disorder treatment so everything is on track.

"She's working very hard at staying well under intense scrutiny. For people to say she is dropping out after all she has been through is incredibly hurtful and flat-out wrong. Does Mary-Kate undergo after-care treatment? She absolutely does.

She left NYU for a leave to go to L.A. and this gave the speculation that she is dropping out.

"She will be returning to New York and to school shortly. This trip is a little bit of a head-clearing, a chance for her to refocus."

Subject:Ashley Olsen stays with sister Mary-Kate
Time:4:37 pm.
U.S. teen movie star Ashley Olsen has canceled a trip to Australia to stay with her twin sister Mary-Kate who was admitted to hospital this week, a spokesman for the pair said Thursday, amid rumors Mary-Kate was suffering from an eating disorder.

Ashley will not attend the Australian premiere of "New York Minute" - the twins' new film - in Melbourne next week, said Robert Thorne, the chief executive of Dualstar Entertainment Group, their entertainment empire, in a statement.

"Ashley Olsen has decided to be with her family at this time," Thorne said.

Earlier this week, U.S. magazines reported that Mary-Kate was suffering from anorexia nervosa. Anorexics are obsessed with losing weight and often exercise excessively or refuse to eat.

Mary-Kate entered "a treatment facility to seek professional help for a health-related issue," her publicist Michael Pagnotta said Tuesday, but did not elaborate.

"While it is unfortunate that plans have been canceled, Mary-Kate and Ashley appreciate everyone's support and understanding at this time. They look forward to coming to Australia and New Zealand in the very near future," Thorne's statement said.

Mary-Kate and Ashley turned 18 on June 13, assuming control of Dualstar Entertainment. They are estimated to be worth US$150 million each.

They've been acting together since they were 9 months old, most notably on the sitcom "Full House" and in a series of direct-to-video movies. They have also attached their names to a line of merchandise including clothing, beauty products and home decorating materials.

"New York Minute" did poorly at the U.S. box office after its May release.

Subject:Mary-Kate Olsen in treatment for anorexia
Time:4:35 pm.
The now 18-year-old Mary-Kate Olsen, co-star of last month's film New York Minute recently "entered a treatment facility to seek professional help for a health-related issue," publicist Michael Pagnotta said on Tuesday.

"She is thankful for the encouragement and support of her friends and family, who are with her every step of the way," he added.

A person familiar with the situation told Reuters that Olsen was suffering from an eating disorder. Olsen entered a facility during the past week or 10 days and was expected to remain in treatment for about a month, the person said.

Us Weekly magazine, in the cover story of its upcoming issue, identified the disorder as anorexia.

Speculation about Olsen's rail-thin figure has been the subject of tabloids, gossip columns and the Internet for weeks. The actress herself poked fun at the issue during the twins' recent appearance on "Saturday Night Live," shouting to an extra playing herself, "You're too skinny! Eat a sandwich!"

Pagnotta said both sisters, who turned 18 on June 13, were going ahead with plans to attend New York University together in the fall.

But Ashley Olsen will be making a planned trip later this month to Australia and New Zealand without Mary-Kate to launch overseas promotion of "New York Minute" -- the sisters' first theatrical feature, he said.
